Elk Hunt-2013

I joined David for a few days of his elk hunt this year. It was a really cool experience watching him out in the field doing what he loves. I am so impressed by this man! He is awesome! I hiked alongside him and once he got his buck, I assisted with quartering and deboning the meat, carrying the gear and elk head back to the truck (while he hauled the bags of meat). It was so relaxing back at camp, just the two of us and I really enjoyed our alone time. I missed the kiddos, but am so happy I had this experience one on one with my man!

 Since Andrew didn't come, he wanted to insure that I was safe, so he sent Chubaca along with me. I kept him updated on our whereabouts with pic. messages while I was away :)
