The Simple Things....

You really do value the simple things once you have kiddos. My hubsy and I have been busy a lot lately and haven't had any free time to just enjoy ourselves or our kids. Yesterday, we BOTH had the ENTIRE day off  so we had a "family day".

I made a big breakfast with french toast, bacon and fresh fruit, and breakfast burritos with eggs, sausage peppers, onions, jalapenos, cheese and homemade salsa and OJ and we ALL ATE TOGETHER! WOOHOO (That's a big deal to me since it doesn't happen that much!)

We then took the kiddos to see "Monsters U" and enjoyed some giggles, popcorn and soda!

Then we headed over to Costco (which is like a field trip to me!---haha) they had yummy samples and picked out some snacks (goldfish, fruitsnacks & Chocolate Milk)

We headed over to the house to check out the progress and we were excited to see the tile and granite complete as well as my BIG sink in the kitchen has been dropped in! They also completed all the marble in all 3 bathrooms today!

We ended our day with a visit/swim and dinner at "papa" and grandma's house.
